Jullee and David were traveling to SF and requested a vintage inspired engagement shoot with me. I was very exited to bring this idea to life and there we started planning.

Moodboard, outfits, locations, editing references. Everything had to be prepared for the shoot to go smootly and fun. I went to China town and scouted location, made a map with itinerary and bought a little gift for the couple.

Time of the shoot was set from 5 am to 7 am, that way we could get flash photos in their beautiful hotel and sunrise shots in China town.

The day of the shoot I left my house at 4.30 am to drive to the hotel in Downtown where we started shooting.

After a few shots in the hotel and outside we proceeded to the Dragon gate, entrance of the China town, San Francisco. The city was empty and quiet. Sun was rising giving us the most beautiful soft gentle light, we were laughing and dancing along the way.

As we approached a fortune cookie factory that was, of course, closed at that hour, it was time for me to handle my gift to Jullee and David.

A giant fortune cookie with two predictions inside. The cookie was broken and the messages were read, it was quite emotional moment that I also got to capture on camera.

I really enjoyed the entire experience and my clients loved the photos.

Feel free to ask any questions and request a tailored photo session experience with me as a photographer.

Be happy!

Your Juliette
